New look and a host of new features

With a sleek new interface, Firefox is following the same minimalist trend Internet Explorer did with its latest release. Another addition is the improved download manager that allows you to not only search the list for files but also go directly to the link they were downloaded from. Users can also now resume downloads after restarting the browser or losing their connection. Searching recently visited sites just became easier too. Now you can put any word in to the location bar and Firefox will list all associated sites. Perfect for those links you forgot to bookmark. Bookmarking is simplified with the new star icon. This feature allows one-click bookmarking, and makes storing your favourite sites that little bit faster. A new icon on the other side of the location bar allows you to view information on sites, such as the owner and how secure your connection is. Other security features include new malware protection as well as integrated virus scanning and compatibility with Windows Vista parental controls.
