Seeking a Senior Business Analyst for an exciting perm opportunity based in North Ryde. This is a large scale IT initiative in its early stages


We are currently looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with a successful background delivering IT projects end-to-end, for a permanent opportunity based in North Ryde.

You will be responsible for conducting the end-to-end methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of business requirements in order to inform the design, build and testing of appropriate business solutions.

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Creating business requirements and specifying effective business processes in information systems
  • Working closely with project stakeholders at all levels
  • Validatation of existing requirements & identifying new business requirements
  • Supporting implementation of projects across different business units.
  • Participate in the development of test strategies, test plans and test cases.
  • Participate in change activities and adopt new ways of working to support organisational changes required to create and sustain IT & technology capabilities.

You should have the following skills and experience:
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a strong varied background working on IT projects from an Education or Government background
  • You must have experience working large scale business transformation projects
  • Experience working on projects from Initiation through to implementation, overall end-to-end experience essential
  • Experience in applying Business Analysis techniques such as Use Cases, Scenarios, Prototyping, Business rules analysis, Non-Functional Requirements analysis, Problem tracking Workshops and others to effectively determine stakeholder objectives and identify underlying issues with business requirements and processes.
  • Experience working with PRINCE2, Agile & PMBOK project management methodologies.
  • Outstanding Stakeholder management ability and customer work ethic
  • Superior communication/learning ability
  • You must be adaptable to change & have good listening skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, or equivalent
