Are you a Technical Business Analyst interested in gaining knowledge in the Cyber Security space? If the answer is yes, one of Australia's largest Financial Services companies is looking for you...

You will work on improvement initiatives and the on-boarding of applications and infrastructure to a number of security systems in an enterprise environment. You will gain knowledge of he following concepts:

  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Cryptographic Key Management
  • Vulnerability Management

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to capture and document system and infrastructure functional and non-functional requirements
  • Identify system and infrastructure components requiring on-boarding to SIEM, based on understanding of system architecture and data flows
  • Collect requirements, analyse and deliver improvements to assist with on-boarding of systems to SIEM
  • Identify IT security threats and raise security risks
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of changes
  • Provide support and participate in SIEM on-boarding testing activities
  • Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements
  • Effectively communicating requirements to stakeholders and project team ensuring that both remain in agreement on solution scope
  • Contributing to conversion of business needs into functional designs
You should have the following skills and experience:
  • Solid technical business analysis experience working within infrastructure and/or application delivery programs
  • Ideally you will have experience working in a security domain (SIEM preferred) but the ability to pick up the concepts is acceptable
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis or an understanding of end to end IT security related information
  • Knowledge of data transformations and formats
  • Software and solution delivery lifecycle experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Desirable - Experience working with Splunk, ArcSight and/or QRadar
  • Desirable - Knowledge of Identity & Access Management systems and processes

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
