D-LINK INTRODUCES DUAL-BAND WIRELESS N OUTDOOR DIRECTIONAL ANTENNA ANT70-1400N

With up to 3km range, ideal for extending LANs between two remote locations

SYDNEY, Aust. May 4, 2010 D-Link Australia & New Zealand, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for business and consumers, today introduced a new dual-band Wireless N outdoor antenna ideal for point-to-point wireless connectivity requiring high gain over long distances.

The D-Link ANT70-1400N Triple Polarization Dual-Band Directional Antenna is an outdoor antenna for connecting 2.4 or 5GHZ wireless LANs with support for the latest high-speed 802.11n wireless networking standard. It has three antenna connectors for transmitting three spatial streams up to 3km, making it ideal for operating in modes such as point-to-point Wireless Distribution System (WDS) and others that require a high gain directional antenna.

The ANT70-1400N features a durable build and a waterproof design which provides complete protection from extreme weather. Made from corrosion-resistant material to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and wind speeds up to 216kph, it is robust enough to remain outside indefinitely.

For easy installation, the ANT70-1400N antenna includes a pole mounting kit for better wireless coverage. It also comes equipped with an indoor adapter cable fitted with N-type and RP-SMA connectors for easy connection to host systems.
