Sydney, AUSTRALIA – 14 March 2011– Jabra has launched an industry-first innovation in the speakerphone category, with the market’s first three-speaker system. The revolutionary new Jabra FREEWAY provides high-quality audio output and includes virtual surround sound and noise-cancelling functionality.

The Jabra FREEWAY brings unique features to the in-car speakerphone category, while addressing consumers’ need for easy-to-use, high-quality hands-free devices when driving. In addition to the advanced three-speaker design, full stereo audio and virtual surround sound, the Jabra FREEWAY includes a dual microphone system to reduce road, wind and other background noise, enabling exceptionally clear communication.

The Jabra FREEWAY enables users to make or receive calls just by using their voice, enabling completely hands-free communication. It also includes a built-in motion sensor for simple, hands-free use, automatically turning the in-car speakerphone on or off when the car door is opened or closed.

The Jabra FREEWAY’s Advanced Voice Guidance capability communicates pairing instructions and status updates to users to enable quick and easy setup. In addition, A2DP Wireless Streaming allows users to play music and audio from GPS applications or smartphones wirelessly through the car radio. Advanced Multi-use™ permits two active Bluetooth® connections simultaneously, with the ability to switch between them freely.
