I haven't heard of the AOC brand until recently but from what I've seen they offer excellent value for money and are good quality for the price?
I am currently in the market for a 24 inch LCD monitor and wondering if anyone has had any experience with AOC, particularly in the areas of warranty and customer support as this information is pretty hard to find!
Thanks in advance,
Matt Gerace

Good value for money
AOC has been around for a while and the monitors are good value for money. However, don't expect excellent quality. By that i mean that they are good, but when compared to more expensive models they might struggle when displaying subtle gradients in photos, and the black colour might not be dark enough. In saying that, unless you are really serious about colour quality (eg you're a photographer), the AOCs are fine. This is based on a 22in i saw a while ago though, so i have not seen a recent model.
As for warranty and customer service, they are 3 years and they do have an Australian web site with service centre details, so you can deal with them directly.
In our experiences, AOC
In our experiences, AOC Monitors are decent value for their asking price, but as the above post says, don't expect the best quality. They aren't bad in any sense, just obviously not as good as the bigger, yet more expensive brands.
If you are looking to save a few dollars then they are definitely worth a look and some of their designs are very nice.
Second to the above
Second to the above comments.
AOC are not bad for the money, however there are far better (more expensive) options.
If you looking for Value for money screen, AOC are not bad.
Aussie Warranty, as there are a few local importers. We have been selling AOC for years and had little trouble.
If you want something a little better and can stretch the $$$, consider Samsung etc. Or go with the AOC and you should be fine.
(AOC actually OEM for some of the bigger brands on the odd occasion also)...
