Another Netgear EVA8000 problem

I have a problem which firat appeared after I accidently powered off my router (speedtouch 585) and switched it on again.

The problem is that when I run the EVA config wizard it shows the digital entertainer in the last panel but when I click 'next' to connect it fails (instead of 'testing' and then'connecting'). The network seems to be OK (I have powerline adaptors) and i've tried restarting my router , restarting the EVA etc. Also the EVA connects to the internet OK and I can even access my PC from the EVA so there is communication EVA->PC but not the other way round. Does anybody familiar with the EVA8000 (a frustrating piece of kit) have any ideas on how to solve this one ?. It might be something to do with the fact that I use my laptop on both my home and office network however when I look at the EVA status it shows the PC and the EVA both in the same subnet. It took me ages to get the EVA working properly but it was working fine until I switched off the router. Have tried Netgear Support to no avail. Grateful for any help.

Hi, do the Netgear EVA8000

Hi, do the Netgear EVA8000 support syslog? if it support, you can get the error log and use router syslog, it can let you view the syslog from your Router with this easy-to-use application.
