Documents Folder in Windows7

I have recently loaded Windows 7 using a clean install after formating my HDD. I loaded several files including,My documents,My emails,FSX Simulator files etc.and discovered that all these files were also loaded in the Documents folder. Is this some kind of back-up in Windows 7 or is there a way of deleting them. When I right click on the Documents file, "Delete" is not an option. Help is required from someone more knowledgable than I............Bigpom

Hi, I use Win7,and right

Hi,
I use Win7,and right clicking on the My Doc'S folder gives me the option to delete the folder. Rather than pay for advice from an unknown source, I suggest a bit of reseach on the Microsoft site will solve your problem. As to the reason you have duplicate files, A disc format does not wipe the disc - the data still exists
and was apparently accessed by Win 7. A bit of research suggests that this is normal when installing over the top of an existing XP installation. as to why you can't delete your excess files, download and instal Unlocker (free) and your problem should be resolved.
Regards,
Torph
