Apple iPad mini

The iPad mini is an exceptionally built tablet with a fantastic app library, but it's let down by a less than stellar display

Pros
Portable, and beautiful seamless design, my laptop is now gathering dust.
Cons
No retina display, A5 chip can be a little slow

I bought my ipad mini wifi only model (32g) around three months ago and absolutley love it! At the time I was deciding between the mini and Ipad with Retina display. I chose the mini due to its size and therefore portability. I just slip it into my handbag and away I go. The Ipad would have tobe carried around seperatly due to its large size. I use my mini everyday for surfing the net, social media and research aswell as reading and have never looked back. Prior to purchasing I researched all the major tablets and for my needs the mini was the way to go. Super Happy Customer.

Pros
Portability & Size
Cons
CPU+GPU power

Don't compare the iPad mini to the current 3/4 gen iPad as you will feel it lacks in specs ... go to the shop, pick it up and play with it and then go to the full-sized iPad and you will immediately notice the difference !! This will serve the purpose for non-power users and ebook readers ... not avid gamers or speed freaks as they will find it slow (compared to the 4 gen iPad)

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
