I have had to replace the harddive and motherboard 3 times in the past year. The only advice I got from the phone support was to purchase an additional warranty. Very unsatisfied customer!!!

These systems are a piece of junk and Dell service is even worse.
I regret purchasing one of these in late 2011. After 6 months of endless problems a replaced hard drive and motherboard and hours waiting on hold for a technician, Dell are still refusing to replace the system and insisting on sending out another technician to try and identify the problem.
I have been patient enough. It s a piece of junk and Dell service is even worse.
Save your money and your time, DO NOT BUY this systems from DELL.

I bought also this computer in June 2011. I have almost the same problems as rrpoke and knewbetter. Only problems, new harddisk, installation of all software, long wating times and long calls to technical support. And the computer is still not working. It even does not start up most of the time and the thing which makes me really angry is that the do not take their responsibility and help me out.

I bought this system in June 2011. Based on some of the revews I had read I thought I better buy the in-home service support. It's a good thing I did! This machine hasn't worked since the first week I got it!. I have had four in-home service calls that have resulted in 4 repaced hard drives, 3 motherboards and the memory. The last time the tech came out he replaced everything powered it up, said it was working and left. There was no software on the PC so all it could do was power up. Had to make another call to support and that was two weeks ago and it still isn't resolved! Stay away from this machine and Dell! If I hadn't kept my old machine for backup I would have gone without a PC for the last 6 months thanks to Dell!

I knew better but the salesman sold me this dell inspiron one 2310 said I would love it..It has done nothing but waste my time for two months...Disk consistency checking every time I turn it on..have done evrything tech support has said to do...HRS days weeks wasted ..just sits there saying ..disks needs to be checked.. on black screen ..no matter how many times it gets redone..not even system restore can fix it...tomorrow I am taking this back to BEST BUY..they can put it where ever they want to..even the GEEK Squad agrees this one is a joke...and 900.oo bucks out of my pocket pain..
