Initially had a lot of trouble installing software on my MacBook, I managed to download the right driver software from HP website. Worked fine for about a month before the Touch screen decided it didn't want to work anymore and only comes up with the HP logo. This was ok for a while because I could still print from the computer but now it's not doing anything and not communicating with the computer. Not recommended.

Loved the size and shape, scanning and double sided printing and copying. Disappointed with longevity. The control panel no longer functions just 2 months out of warranty. It still prints from the computer and that's all.

sounds like lots of complaints with Macs not surprising.

How can I scan an A4 size in color to my Macbook in JPEG. It always scans in .PDF and there is no color ???????????? only black /white.

Do not buy it. I have had it 6 months and it hardly ever works. I can't print from either computer. I take everything off and reinstall and it works for a week then quits. Tech support has been no help. I paid $250 for it and tomorrow I am going to buy another printer. What a waste of money.

This printer couldn't be easier to setup. It's Wireless-N capable, quiet and fast. It's working very well with Windows 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS X 10.6 and Lion. Airprint works from iphone or iPad, and my HP TouchPad saw it and printed first time I tried!

I brought a new Envy 100 home 4 hours ago - and it's a complete disaster.
Installation seemed to go well, but when I try to print from either of my Macs, I get an error message: "Color Ink Cartridge is int he wrong slot." Well, it's not. HP tech support confirmed that - but they have no idea what's wrong. I wasted $250 and hours and hours - and had a techie clean out all my previously added printers (THANKS, HP) - and nothing works.
Not at all ready for prime time, if you use Macs.

just bought this and it simply doesn't work wireless strength is extremely weak one bar. Printer has to be on top of your router to work if you put it in another room forget it. The point of a wireless system is so that your devices don't have to be in the same room. I'm bringing this pretty box back for something that actually works.
