Why is Intel shoving i7's into laptops? i7's are gas-guzzling monsters. An i5 would be much more appropriate.
Almost all software is being hardware accelerated these days, so consumers would be wise to match an efficient CPU with a husky graphics card. That is why I think an i5 with AMD Radeon would have been the perfect combo of processing power and battery life.
There are better options, though! The DV6 also is available with an AMD Fusion option - where a powerful GPU and CPU are fused onto one piece of silicon to cut down electrical drain. I'm waiting for the DV6 with AMD Fusion.

I love it,
Runs Crysis, runs everything and without breaking a sweat, wireless works well and integrates with my 3 LCD Tv's and PS3. Movies on demand from every room.
Be aware this is a Desktop replacement, very powerful not that comfortable to transport.
For a little over 1K (What I paid) this has to be the best laptop on the market.
