I love how people have a single bad experience with a random sales person or technician, and thereby use it as their sole ammo to discredit in their own mind, an entire multi-national company.

I imported the Galaxy Tab via a shop on eBay. All my Facebook games worked perfectly, and it really struck me that "there's an app for that" is Apple's attempt to whitewash the trut that their operating system is proprietary so you have to go out of your way to get things to work. No wonder Apple's running scared.

I've had the 32 Gb wifi version for 2 weeks now (shhh don't tell Apple) and it's fantastic. Super fast, super light and super easy to use. Very glad I didn't get impatient and buy a fruit.

Screw Apple! This is how they use their clout to respond to market innovation? I want this tablet. I am waiting for this to be released and all Apple's playground bullying has achieved is that I will never buy one scrap more that has an apple logo on the front. If it werent for that lawsuit I probably would have never known about it.

Ross, you can hardly call this the only real alternative to the ipad with so many notable omissions. To be fair, it looks beautiful and those buggers at apple have given it the kind of publicity that money cannot buy.
Readers should look to other awesome devices as well such as the Asus transformer. I bought one a month ago and it's great-expandible memory slots, HDMI, great keyboard and phenomenal battery life.
I hope Samsung sell a truckload of these but it is not the only good device that is out there at the moment
