Pros
It's the only multifunction machine I can find whose scanner works on a network and it appears to be durable.
Cons
It gets a little balky at times and confused about what it's doing, but it self-corrects

I like this machine and I highly recommend it EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT PERFECT. That's because I have had 6 MFPs over the years by various makers and NONE of those were perfect either--this one is the least imperfect. Just understand that it's a home office quality machine. It costs less than $1,000 and you can't have the same expectations of a heavy duty machine that cost 3 to 5 times as much. I took delivery on this MFP in April of 2012. It's now November. I do from 1,000 to 1,500 pages per month. I get the fewest number of paper jams and they are the easiest to clear from any of the machines I have used (which include Xerox, Canon, Brother). It also has the highest capacity Ink cartridge and unlike other machines it actually gives you warnings when the supply of toner is getting low.

Very important is that while all of its competitors work fine as network printers, none work as network scanners, except this one (at least in my experience and from all of my research).

On the bad side there are a lot of times when I get error messages that the paper in the tray is not the right side for what I wish to print--when I know perfectly well that that is not the case! But then after about 10 seconds the machine self-corrects and prints what I am asking it to print. On a few occasions when I was trying to print an 8.5 x 14 document on an 8.5 x 11, it simply would not print until I either changed paper and paper settings or asked the printe to reduce the image size.

In conclusion: I bought it, I'm happy; I'd do it again
