- Wouldn't Turn ON!! I had it for one WEEK and a message of Operating sys not found and then the display turned off, then the keyboard backlights wouldn't turn on. Its DEAD JIM.

Unreliable not worth the cost.
If SONY has better customer support and took alitle bit more time
for QA on its VAIO line this would have been avoided.
My laptop's HDD is fine, but I think it had a motherboard failure in less than a week
(been using it on a flat desk with good airflow and never moved) or the battery is faulty(but somehow holds a charge? ANyways.You can't use it like a lambourghini that has a broken motor.
My laptop is a fancy brick now.
Not a reliable product. Sorry Sony, not this time.
