The device has a great design. I have had issues installing the software, I was forced to download it from an Internet cafe in order to install it. Once the software was installed the device wouldn't register and failed to recognise. Piece of crap, I smashed it into a million pieces then shot my juices all over it before sending it back.

I totally disagree. I just purchased the Telstra Elite Mobile Broadband and I am very disappointed. I am using a mac x 10.6 and the software and USB modem device fail to register on my mac. I cannot install the software and the device doesn't even register. The LED light was blue indicating the sim was activated and ready to connect to the Internet. After removing the sim from the device and inserting it again, the device now shows a red LED light indicating the sim was no longer active. Telstra customer support was terrible, having them hang up several times after I disagreed with their diagnostic. Terrible device fir mac users.

- ConsMac Book won't turn off after using the stick
After using the USB internet speed from Telstra, Mac book can't be turned off ..... it needs to be force shut down.
No issues shutting down after using ADSL modem though.
Struggling to find help on this.

I purchased this fraud-band modem last October from Telstra. I first unit worked for about a week then stopped working. cut a long story short, I had three replacements. the maximum speed was 2mbps on a good day on average 20kbps...Chinese made junk over priced ZTE brand. never again, i now use Optus pocket wifi..GREAT 5Mbps. I only live 25kms from a major Capital city
