Ink ran out after about 50 pages in 6 months: EXPENSIVE cartrgidge comes to over $1/page. Takes long to warm up and has an orgasmic shudder as it preps. TOTAL PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!

I upgraded fro an unreliable HP Photosmart (should be Photodumb) All-In-One C309 to the MX870 about 2 1/2 years ago and I have never had a problem with it. The biggest job I used the device for was duplex scanning of a 900+ page document; scanned all pages with no problems. The HP printer I had would freeze up after about 23 pages every time. Set up was a breeze and connected 3 laptops, media center PC, Desktop PC, X Box, PS3, and two cell phones (through Canon's app) with no problems. I have only printed a hand full of pictures, but they turned out great. I would give it five stars but did not come with blue tooth, I'll have to get the adapter. Hands down the best printer I've ever owned; no more crappy HP's for me!

I had a Canon MX850 for a few years and liked it very much. Somehow it jammed a program and broke so I was forced to buy this model MX870. The directions were not thorough and we had to call support several times for various system functions. This printer is really SLOW and it uses twice as much ink as my last printer... not sure how that is but I'm replacing a black ink cartridge every few weeks and color cartridges about 6 to 8 weeks out. The amount of printing has stayed the same however the cartridges just don't last as long. I would not recommend this product... in fact I don't think I'll be purchasing from Canon again!

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
