  • Pros
    Good quality shots on auto
  • Cons
can be difficult to navigate manually

Camera is good for what we want, great point & shoot with a quality lens. Compact size is also good. If you are not confident using it on manual mode, it can be time consuming to find what you are looking for. Overall, The quality you expect from Sony.

  • Pros
    Takes clear pictures
  • Cons
    Menu

Installation cd vague and slow to install. Also paper and cd manual hard to follow. Could be made much easier for the amateur. Still can`t get it to transfer to the computer with the enclosed cable as pictures come out all scrambled.

  • Pros
    Full HD video
  • Cons
    CD manual instllation

I just bought a Sony DSC-WX7 and when I inserted the INSTRUCTIONS CD into my CD rom, the first thing it wants is to check whether my WINDOWS MP IS GENUINE OR NOT.Since mine is not I CANNOT install the CD. Why does Sony want to check the genuineness of Windows XP??? I am returning the camera immediately only for that reason.

  • Pros
    i dont know
  • Cons
    this camera

This camera will not allow you to use windows movie maker to edit the film. Thus is sucks in my opinion. It has excessive folders and buttons are build for a woman with nails bcause no normal size finger could press them.

  • Pros
    Small. Makes nice audible sounds.
  • Cons
Image Quality, image quality, image quality.

Anyone who thinks that this camera has any image qualities remotely similar to that of an SLR is truly kidding themselves. Or any image quality at all for that matter.

As soon as you load your images on a computer and zoom in they are as grainy as ever. I've used every setting. I bought it yesterday, I leave for Thailand today and I have opted to leave it at home and take the SLR.

  • Pros
HD 3D photo's and records 1080i HD max res play back
  • Cons
The photo's can look abit soft for a 16 mega pixel camera when thy should be sharp and detailed

2 of the top key points of this camera seems tobe the HD video recording at a max of 1080i and the 3D stills.

If you dont have a 3D tv there's a mode where you can take shots to show what your photo looks like with tilting camera as a like demo where it only shows
on camera or a hd tv if conecterd to camera and takes another photo in 3D for a 3D tv. So it takes a demo shot
and a 3D pitcher at same time.

Recording video at a max res of 1080i is also some thing
tobe proud of with this camera.

The ICD screen is big too but the buttons can be abit
small to press and you can easy press more then 1 button
if you have big fingers.

When taking pitchers at 16 mega pixel, I dont find them
as sharp as thy shound be like the camera ad's in alittle exstra outline softening look of pitcher,
On the bright side it take some realy nice low light
shots.

  • Pros
    1080i video and options
  • Cons
Can take abit of time to get use too with out auto mode's

this camera takes a long time to get use too and many pitchers on auto settings in darker placers can be tricky at times till you know how.

Lots of options and carnt folt the 1080i video

Camera on auto settings has a nasty habbit of overexposure on some dark pics time to time and some times light ones too.

On maurel settings and you know best settings for light
or dark and ISO, You can take some realy sharp detailed pitchers, Miles better then one's reviewed on net.

Only folt i can find with this camera is its auto mode shots. There good but not perfect

  • Pros
    thin body, really easy menus
  • Cons
    nothing

I have one of these and it's the best camera I've ever used...the menus are way easier to navigate than you're saying, it's all in the manual.
