I got the 3760 as a gift from my wife and it was my first GPS. very quickly discovered how useful these things are. problem is it was so slim and small I forgot it was in my pocket when I sat down! screen broke very easily. replacement cost was less than previous review says, but still very expensive. thank god for insurance. waiting for my replacement to try the voice commands. I have been a little disappointed with the maps though. plenty of times it tells me to take a route I know is wrong or tells me to turn right at a "left turn only" sign.
suggestions for garmin - provide more accurate updates, or allow users to make mods to maps and provide a hard shell case!!

    no wi-fi, traffic reporting, as with all Garmins, to slow to be useful.

I have just purchased to replace my Garmin 680. Very happy with Garmin and this unit is excellent. Very fast updates when moving, great graphics, and great size. The voice commands are excellent and work well, a real plus. Lifetime maps in 3790LTM are only $50 more. Well worth it. A great unit.

Me too, Cracked after few months..to repair it Garmin Australia wants $557.27 (us$515). What a joke. in the US they want $75 for such a repair!! embarrassing for Garmin, I WAS a big fan
