Given the Navman MY50 over a year ago. It's been good for a freebie even though it does try to send me to some funny places, eg, turn right when it should be straight, turn right at No Right Turn streets, directing me to look for houses on the wrong side of the street, etc., and it's sluggish in the mornings with the button to start a search needing multiple presses for anything to happen.
There has been a lot of infrastructure upgrades on the Auckland motorway network lately and the Navman has sent me up the wrong ramp which makes me miss the Cook St, or Helensville/Port highways sometimes because as you Aucklanders will know, you can no longer change lanes for the last 200m or so. Ok, no worries I thought, I'll update the Navman to the 2011-12 version for $99. RIPPED OFF. This morning it made me miss the turn-off. I had to travel several more kilometres to back-track at Gillies Ave in heavy traffic. I mean this is one of the busiest stretches of road in NZ and labelled a 'road of national significance' and these guys haven't updated it. Thanks for NOTHING Navman.

lousy response from NAVMAN in relation to NZ may purchase problems, In fact NO RESPONSE ! emails simply ignored, The unit is now DEAD as a Dodo after 2 years & 1 month !!. Last I ever buy from NAVMAN !!!!!

Had for 12 months now.
Performance is sluggish
Innacurate
After sales service non existent
3 free yearly downloads very late.
Instructions make it impossible to install
Lost all functions when ntrying to install new maps.
Battery does not keep a charge
could go on and on with the troubles I am having

This unit doesn't work and contacting Navman was a waste of time energy and money. They expect the buyer to pay the cost of returning the unit when it is their problem . Consumer affairs . Choice here I come.
