Same heare The Plastic Broke in the first week the Sound Headset keeps turning off evry few secs and i have to unplug and plug it again to make it work not worth of buying at all for me it was a waste of money.

After looking on the net for a decent pair of gaming headphones, I saw a few reviews that rated these headphones of a good quality and from a trusted company like Creative, it seemed like a good purchase.

The sound quality for games was at the time the best I've heard and the microphone was good too but they aren't that great for listening to music. And with the price tag in the $200+ mark, that alone isn't really worth it.

My biggest complaint about these are that like other reviewer stated, they tend to snap near the cup. I went through two of those with exactly the same break and just by putting them on my head. I've head cheap heaphones from Dick Smith that have lasted longer than these.

I bought a pair of these headphones, and at first I thought they were great - crisp sound, no interference or static when using Ventrilo. But within a week one of the ear cups had snapped off the head band.

We took it back to the retailer, who swapped them for another pair, at the same time we bought second pair for my partner because we figured that the snapping was an unprecedented defect, and also we are avid gamers and the sound was really good.

After a few weeks the sound stopped working on his headset, and the reason for this baffled us. So he's sent it back for a warranty claim, still waiting to hear back from them after several weeks.

And now today - my pair has stopped working in exactly the same way: for no apparent reason.

That is 3 pairs of these headsets that have broken/stopped working. And believe me at the price they are, and after the first pair snapped during the simple act of putting it on my head - we were treating the 2nd two pairs like they were made of glass.

I do not recommend this product at all. And I am very disappointed in Creative for bringing out an inferior product and charging a small fortune for it.
