If you're getting this for apps maybe it's not the #1, but I personally didn't which makes it awesome.

Bye far the best bang for your buck. I picked this up on sale for $118.00. Great quality 3D player.

Setting up accounts for face book with pass words is very frustrating as at every turn it asks for e-mail address again which is very tedious ! the only good thing the box does is play DVDs . For the money very dissapointing

I just bought a BD-E5900 with Smart Hub to replace my older Samsung Bluray. A key APP I used in my older player was BBC News. After communicating with Samsung I find that the newer system does not support the BBC News APP...this is a big step backward for Samsung. Overall the product works well but there are very few good news APPs.

If you want a wifi, buy something else. Everytime I want to listen to Pandora I have to go through all the same steps of using a code the player gives me, log into samsung/pandora and enter the code, then startup the player's browser, log into pandora.com, enter my user & pw for my already existing account with Pandora. Despite clicking "remember me" I have to do this EVERYTIME! It can take 10-15 minutes! Samsung is just as slow to answer an email regarding this matter. By the way, the User Guide is written as if you are already familiar with the setup process. Otherwise, a very nice and inexpensive 3D bluray dvd player. Samsung needs major browser improvements. A key reason I bought this was so I did not have to tie my computer up if I wanted to listen to Pandora. This model was a waste for me.
