Only had this a few months. Most times when you turn it on it freezes and needs to be reset by pulling out the power cord. Timer recording has just stopped functioning - it says the disc is full when it is completely empty. Do not buy this junk.

stops recording after a few minutes

Hi All, In general a good easy to use and attractive unit. It stops recording after approx 8-9 minutes on the 10 stations (1, 10, 11) so you need to manually record. I have contacted Sony about this and they are aware of the glitch which has been put down to the broadcasting stream and not the unit itself. If you lodge this issue with them via their website, they say they will contact you with further info once the problem has been sorted. I hope this helps!

only recording a few minutes

Have been in touch with Sony about the fact that 90% of the time only about 12 minutes in recorded. Uploaded Firmware but it is now worse. It is only a few weeks old but I am told it is out of "DOA warranty" and i now have to have it sent away for repair... NOT HAPPY!!!!

I find that I'm missing the end of a show if the station prigrammingruna over time. It sometimes only records the first 7 or 8 minutes of a program and I have no idea why- very frustrating!!
