Found this amazing laptop after decided not to buy macbook pro retina just yet. So kinda temporary one for me. But it turns out to be very good and I am impressed with the price, performance and the quality I've got so far. Very portable yet still has the large screen, and it does look strong (metal finishes), even though your palm hands can easily leave mark on the keyboard.

Lisa: not sure what happened with yours, but I opened 3 mozilla firefox windows, with each windows at least have 8 tabs opened and still running Windows media player and couple Java apps, it still runs perfectly fine.

I find the computer 'locks up' from time to time where it just fails to respond to any commands...almost like it's been asked to do too much at once. I'm not a demanding user, I tend to use for documents, internet and email rather than gaming, video's etc. has anybody else had a similar issue?

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
