Unhappy with HP

Pros
Nice Colour, great feature set
Cons
It doesn't work. Crashes frequently, and HP service is expensive.

So today for the umpteenth time, my HP printer has failed. I have restarted and updated everything possible. Still nothing. So I called HP and wound up in a US tech support because Canada doesn't have one. The Techie accidentally let slip that he could send me a brand new model, replace the $400 worth of colour toner cartridges, all at a reduced price, and offer me free shipping - sorry - oops your in Canada? NO SOUP FOR YOU! For you we can only offer over the phone support. That will be $39, oh no wait, you're in Canada - sorry that's $49. HP: you suck. DON'T BUY THIS PRINTER WITHOUT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY! If you need reliability and cannot deal with frequent interuptions to reload drivers etc... DON"T BUY THIS PRINTER!

Pros
print quality very good
Cons
a bit slow at first, but acceptable speed once first sheet is through

Just bought this printer and was pleasantly surprised with quality of colour and grayscale output. No problems with loading software and connecting to network....a breeze. Seem as solid as a rock and reliable. Copying is quick and produces almost faultless result from original. scanning acceptable quality ...not as good as my Epson PRO - but does the job and has good variety of output options... jpg, pdf and direct email.

very impressed so far!!

This my 3rd reply. This thing is a piece of crap. Does nothing but jam and then comes up with some cooling down thing that takes forever. I wasted $450.

STYLISTIC Q702

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
