The HP Officejet 4500

This all-in-one printer is totally pathetic. We only bought for it's so-called scanning abilities, and they are not worth considering. HP Customer Service is as equally pathetic. They don't give a stuff!

After scanning a document, there is no further dialogues to help you through the saving mode. I've re-installed the software a couple of time. It just freezes and Task Manager is (sometimes) the only way to get out of it - short of shutting the computer down.

The software is rubbish and I would never recommend this printer to anyone - unless you hate them!

Paper jamming piece of crap

I have never seen such a poor piece of hardware in my life - I am not joking. out of 10 papers 6 just jammed. The power saving freezes up the printer, it goes through ink like crazy, and the scanner gives errors more than it works. I would not recommend at ALL. Try another brand.

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
