Looks ok
Photos stored on mother board chip

HTC phone stores data such as photos and videos on a 'NAND' chip on the mother board.

Experience a technical issue affecting the mother board and it will be swapped out by the HTC warranty company FoneBiz, resulting in the loss of all data including the photos and videos.

It doesn't matter if you inform HTC and FoneBiz that the photos are irreplaceable. While repairers may state "Accredited since 2004 to repair down to component level" for HTC, it doesn't mean they will swap the memory chip over as it appears swapping the entire mother board is the easier option.

easy enough to use
technical support what a joke

I purchased one week i shut down screen and 10 minutes later the phone would not restart. Plugged in charger and the red LED did not light up. HTC technical support absolute garbage no number so no send message. total B.S.

I just like my phone. However, it is difficult to see screen outdoors in bright sunlight.
I have a cracked screen, but it doesn't seem to affect much.

I need some help in locating a driver to adapt to my Dell Vostro laptop.

Looks nice
Not user friendly

I recently bought the HTC One and I'm really disappointed with it. Doesn't seem to sync my calendar properly, and apparently to download apps such as Solitaire, you need to give permission for them to access all your phone calls! Wish I'd gone with an iPhone or stuck with my reliable old Blackberry.

Screen, User Interface, Sound, Camera, Gallery Features, Design

This is by far the best and most enjoyable smartphone I've ever owned. Here's all the smartphone's I've owned: G1, G2, HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S3, Nexus 4. This is by far the best of all of them. The design of the phone itself is spectacular and does not feel cheap. I had lost some faith in HTC a few years back, but now my faith has been restored. This phone is absolutely brilliant.

Cant think of any negatives

Ive upgraded from a 2.5 year old HTC Desire which was a great phone which is still working. I decided to upgrade because the battery on the Desire had deteriorated to only a few hours of life between charges.

I decided on the HTC One after being very impressed with its looks, and when I had a play with it in store, it was quick, and the screen was large and super clear.

Ive owned this for over a week now, and Ive used all the features and I cant fault it. I never have high expectations with battery life as most people I know complain about short battery life, so I simply manage around it with owning multiple chargers for home and work and a car charger, so it doesnt really bother me.

GPS quality is important to me, and the HTC Ones GPS quality is perfect. I watch hours of Youtube on the phone now as the screen is large enough with fantastic quality picture.

I love Blink Feed too. I use Twitter and Facebook alot. And the Blink Feed puts all news/notifications from these 2 sites into 1 feed - including images. Love it..

The camera is great - a hge upgrade from the original HTC Desire I own.The camera is quick, and I like the Zoe effect. The video and still image quality is SUPER GOOD!!

Overall - it is EXCELLENT and so far FAULTLESS..

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
