Pros
CHEAP, WIRELESS HOTSPOT
Cons
SLOW.
• • •

I was using a reasonable Nokia GSM phone but wanted to get a 3G Anroid phone which could be used as a mobile hotspot. I picked up the X1 for $63 locked to Optus and no SD card. Less than it costs to fill the car up with petrol. I added a 4 Gid SD.

It works but is quite slow. I recharge every night as battery life is quite short. I use the Wireless hotspot a fair bit for access internet with my Netbook, quite good really.

As a straight phone it is inferior to the cheapest nastiest Nokia. But it will do most of the things that the expensive android phones will do only a lot slower. I'd like a better faster phone and will get one when I find one that I like at a good price.

As has already been mentioned by others. Biggest moan is the lack of user manual. The Manual(LOL) supplied is useless.
• • •

Lack of manualmakes using it a hit and miss affair. The piace of paper purporting to be a manual is useless.

Bought the X1 yesterday, I'm very upset that the battery life can use for 12 hours
Apart from that is just great, easy to use easy to get to know and the gps is fantastic

Bought this to get some android exposure for not a lot of money ($63 Aust). It will do just about anything that the big boys do just a lot slower and clunkier. It is quite small and will fit in my old Nokia case. As a straight phone it falls well short of my old Nokia.

My only real gripe is the battery life, with bluetooth and wireless turned off and being used for no more that 5 minutes in the day the battery is flat out lasting through the day.

Overall, I am a bit disappointed a phone that can't last from morning to night on one charge is probably not going to be any use in the long term.

Bought this phone and love it but there are a couple of thing to weigh up if you buy one:
firstly battery life is 24 hours IF your lucky.
secondly you cant put your own ring tone to a text message (not too important but a point) :)
Apart from that is just great, easy to use easy to get to know and the gps is fantastic

Pros
Small phone with android 2.2
Cons
Max device storage 153mb, though does support 32gb sd

For a device of its size and specs performs well, I like it, great small phone with a reasonable sized screen for its size, landscape screen orientation is ok for messaging apps etc, the average sized web page is rendered in a reasonable time, though if you luv playing about with your media/photos etc. it can be a little slow to respond/render the images - not bad at all.

Pros
Price, its android
Cons
Battery life is CRAP!

Battery lasts 24 hours....if im lucky! they should have probably found a better battery for it.have to charge every night. But other than that it is a good wee phone, does the trick and is android which is a bonus.

Pros
Making the most of a tight budget
Cons
Fiddly controls

Bought the X1 a couple of days ago - am very impressed with the features for the price but...texting etc takes a long while to get used due to the small size of the buttons, and some of the interface seems counter intuitive - it's really easy to have several windows open unintentionally (especially if you don't do the tutorial like I did). You definitely need a memory card and I didn't recieve one in my box (mine was purchased from AllPhones). Once you get the hang of it it's a excellent value for the money especially with Android 2.2 loaded on it but it'll never beat an iPhone for performance or ease of use.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
