The Kogan EziNav G6 GPS unit has a few too many annoying quirks to wholeheartedly recommend, including a poor quality display and mediocre battery life

The unit looks and feels good, although slow to start. I have been using for 2 years. I liked the extra features but have just tried to use the 'media' for photos and files and it wont open. The maps have got me into trouble a few times and the speed limits can be wrong. The first time I tested it I went from Carrum to Kew and it took me right down Punt Rd, definitely the wrong way to go "traffic wise". It's good company though.

I bought this KGNUKG6 GPS with up to date UK and Europe maps [as advertised] WRONG the maps are old and in parts incomplete.
I asked Kogan about this and was told that new maps will be available later in the year. . . I have to BUY them. I was asked to supply the area and roads not on the GPS.!!??
This map update costs more that the original price of the unit, so NO BARGAIN.
Kogan have my money, are in OZ down under and I can't get a solution to this.
So what I THOUGHT WAS A BARGAIN, - - - AINT!

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
