Battery life is really poor and mine keeps locking to "Emergency Calls" only - been without it for over 48 hours now. Not at all happy - never had any problem with my i-Phones.

I have no idea, who does this phone target? It is the best entertainment phone currently in the market. if display could be handy and compactible to pocket size, I would be more satisfied. Also Battery life could be better. Still more innovation I am expecting. This phone didn't produce more than better software.

As for as the form and design of this phone, it just feels natural in my hand. The phone is BIG, but it's not hard to handle. I love the fact that it is a unibody design as there are no covers to come loose and break. I would like an SD card slot but I can't see id being an issue. I gave up an Iphone for this one and didn't need one then.

The software is of course Android 4 and Sense 4.0. I love the smooth transitions and the awesome effects that come with ICS, I would rather have a pure Android experience but Sense really isn't getting in the way all that much. I can't understand why there seems to be no voice dial on it. I really do hope that HTC corrects this in the near future.

HTC, you have hit the nail on the head with this phone and I am a complete Android convert now.

The four star rating is because of the lack of voice dial only.

I just want to point out to the writer of this article that the menu button appearing at the top of certain applications is an Android 4.0 thing. Android is moving away from the dedicated hardware menu button and instead integrating them into the applications themselves. The applications that have the menu button in the top bar are 4.0 supported, the ones that come up with the floating virtual menu button at the bottom of the screen are not yet fully optimised for 4.0. It is not HTC's fault, more developers faults for not upgrading their apps to comply with the new guidelines for 4.0. I'm sure as more time passes, consistency will improve.

I bought this phone 2 days ago, and with a battery saver app (which I have had to use on every Android phone I've owned) battery comfortably lasts about 10-12 hours of regular use. I have been listening to Google Music all day, watched a full movie on full brightness, heavily browsed the internet, auto sync has been on the whole time, regular checks and updates of various social networks and more and it still has more than 50%. But I do admit, the screen is a battery hog. I have also found it uses 60% of my total consumption. Way more than any other phone I've had.

Be aware, the battery is a major issue...i got two of them, first with battery issue-wont last 3 hours, second with software issue-cant download anything and the battery is still dissapoiting. I will swith phone on next monday

This is agreat phone/pda. Swithching data/contacts/music from an iPhone (3GS) was very simple. Operating system menus are far more intuitive than Apple and for some one who is not that techno savvy everything switched over very easily

It has GR8 bat lifetime, awesome screen, fast&handy camera, speed, memory is definitely good enough, except few fanatic mobile users, I rekcon. So far the best on market, don't think it will change anytime soon.

I think people are allready fed up with big displays which does not fit any pocket,so big device u allready get a 10,1 pad. Have to go back to 3,7'' displays which can be used as mobile phones.No sd cart is a big minus, size big minus,İCS is big plus.so nothing special.
