Its funny to see apple fan boys who don't enven own the phone come here and post a feedback about the phone. And more intereting is how the the website allows that to happen. Go back to your iPhones Geeks.

Cons
jerky at times, cheap looking compared to one x

I had the opportunity recently to test the 2 top phones. Galaxy s3 & HTC one x side by side. Though there are gimmicks added on to S3 I couldn't bring my self to buy the higher priced s3 compared to one x.

Nothing quite spectacular. The features are fine. The design sucks. This new offering from Samsung has poor design. It looks like a huge corby phone.

When you test battery life you are only indicating the time for one charge and not the time before battery replacement which, for Li/ion batteries is about 3 years if the thing hasn't been sitting on a shop shelf for months before it is sold. Li/ion batteries have a lifetime of about 3 years from the time they come off the production line. I have a friend who bought a "new" Li/ion battery for his phone on line through ebay; it was effectively dead on arrival. It refused to hold more than an hour or two of charge.

Li/ion batteries should be required to be stamped with a born date and sold at a pro rata price based on how long since it was born and the 3 year expected life.

Hi David,

It's hard for us to really test the phone in rural areas and it is difficult to come to a conclusion about reception given it is largely network dependent.

We will however thoroughly test the battery life as soon as we get a model in for review :-)

Stay tuned!

Can PCW please check what the reception of this phone is like! In the rural area I live the SGII drops calls where the Motorola Atrix wouldn't. Could PCW also pls comment on the battery life of the SGIII! That was one of the major probs with the SGII. Thanks.
