Pros
Big numbers, Great calling
Cons
NO IDEA WHT THE RED THING AT THE BACK IS ??

Great Phone. Big numbers are great. It might seem that the big numbers are only good for the elderly but I have found having big numbers FANTASTIC.... A bit confusing at times but really good. I recommend this mobile for people of all ages ...

Pros
Big keypads
Cons
No protective cover
• • •

The switch to lock the keypad (as there is no cover and none can be bought) easily slips back and forth either in a pouch or in your pocket so the keypad may not be locked when you think it is. The back cover keeps falling off so had to stickytape it on to keep it ON. Then after 6 months the battery died, permanently. The whole phone is very plactic-ie and flimsy and I would not recommend it to anyone - unless you hardly move about. VERY disappointed.

Can someone please tell me why - WHEN I TYPE A TEXT AND PRESS SEND I KEEP GETTING A MESSAGE SAYING "Message Failed". This part of the phone is so so frustrating - can anyone solve this problem please ??????????? THE MANUAL HAS NO DIRECTIONS.
q2. How do I get the phone out of emergency mode - I do not have the orange button on so this message should not be on the screen Thank you Ian

Pros
BIG everything. Good.
Cons
NO IDEA HOW TO SET UP THE AUDIBLE KEY TONE SO SOMEONE SPEAKS TO ME WHEN DIALLING
• • •

We purchased this phone, very very good. However. Its biggest feature is no where to be documented within the User Manual. AUDIBLE KEY TONE! Where on this phones this setting. After 3 hours of pawing over the manual, internet and of course a call to Telstra no one could help. This means one more trip to the shop to have an assistant do this for us. I will rate the product well for its ease of use of oldies (mind you we are YOUNG) and couldn't find the means. How is an elderly person meant to find it. So all in all I give the rating to the USER GUIDE alone. 3.

Pros
the torch
Cons
No tethering
• • •

Major drawback - not mentioned on Telstra site - is the inability of the phone to receive internet, or to be tethered to a pc or laptop as a modem. This means, for example, the 2GB data you pay for with Cap Encore is unuseable with this phone.

Pros
Easy Lock
Cons
Automatic Turning-OFF
• • •

Care needs to be taken if buying for an elderly person as the phone I purchased for my Mother had the settings set to turn the phone off automatically after a designated number of hours, meaning we could not contact her. If you purchase the phone go to "Settings" and set this feature to "off" i.e. in-active or what you feel is appropriate

Cons
case would have been nice

I have Parkinson's, and my hand shakes often, the loud speaker for incoming calls is great, best yet. the size of the letters (font size)for texting and reading excellent, truly the best on the current market for people my age, would suit others also, this would be perfect, if one could be made with all facilities camera, email, and video calls. deluxe model
