I purchased this phone for ease of use my wife and I being senior citizens. I live in Bilambil heights Nsw 2486 telstra towers every where but can I get a signal?no and yet my old phone got a strong signal. can anyone tell me what is happening thanks Frank

I purchased a Telstra Easy touch Phone about 16 months ago. After three months it was replaced because it kept closing down. Six months ago I noticed a dark v type marking on the screen and was told by the company it occurred because I had physically damaged it. The LED screen was broken beneath the top screen and although the top screen was undamaged and the phone had a fold down lid on it they would not fix it unless I paid $140. I'm not happy as I have used mobile phones for 16 years and have never had this problem before. I think the phone is faulty and should be replaced free of charge. What do you think>
