Even though the purchase of Moto by Google seems to be going ahead, I have been burned in the past by promises made by Moto, that upgrades would be made available. They made me wait several months before allowing my Milestone to catch up with the revisions in Android, and then the system became more buggy etc etc. I prefer to buy from a brand that has a proven record of keeping its existing customers happy, and in the absence of that, I'll buy the product that I want, rather than the product that might become the product I want if the manufacturer can get round to delivering the updates in its own sweet time...

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
