Pros
Size and multifunction
Cons
Does not recognize lot of 3G dongles. Useless for 3G sharing

It is useless for 3G sharing because does not recognize a lot off 3G dongles that you don't know prior you bought it. I tried 5 dongles without success. Also it support very few countries.

Pros
recognizes novatel 3g usb dongle, can be powered from host usb port, decent 802n range
Cons
not very stable, literally no support from asus

bought this a few weeks ago from micro center w/ $20 instant off so it was $50. I had to figure out my 3g settings from my verizon app to figure out how to config my 3g dongle (not in the list of supported dongles - which you can't find prior to purchase btw, they should have the list on their web site.) It works great when it's working. Many times it boots up, connects and then locks up and I have to reboot it again, each time taking about 3 min to connect. Tech support is pretty much nil, posted in the asus forums and 0 responses in over a week. I've tried firmware updates, etc. Overall, if you can deal with the frequent lock up headaches, it's an ok product. If it were stable I would rave about it.
