- Consswitching between 3g and router mode
it is not that easy to switch between your 3g sharing and normal cable / wired net connection. i noticed that i am getting and error 'cable not connected ' while i am connecting my 3g usb and wan cable together on the router

bought this a few weeks ago from micro center w/ $20 instant off so it was $50. I had to figure out my 3g settings from my verizon app to figure out how to config my 3g dongle (not in the list of supported dongles - which you can't find prior to purchase btw, they should have the list on their web site.) It works great when it's working. Many times it boots up, connects and then locks up and I have to reboot it again, each time taking about 3 min to connect. Tech support is pretty much nil, posted in the asus forums and 0 responses in over a week. I've tried firmware updates, etc. Overall, if you can deal with the frequent lock up headaches, it's an ok product. If it were stable I would rave about it.
