Yes, definitely the wireless performance of this device is excellent as long as it is set to a correct channel. I got this educational help from the tech support. Sometimes you could get a "not that good" tech support but i'm glad i got the better one.

If you purchase from NetGear you have to face their "technical support" - somewhere in the Philippines. They might look like they are trying but it appears they go straight to "reset the modem" as being their strongest tool in their box. When that fails you are then pushed about trying to get a RMA number to return it under warranty. I haven't had much luck from NetGear in the last 12 months - their quality has dropped and the outsourcing of their tech help to "Help Centre" staff leaves you wondering what they hope to achieve - maybe only upsetting their customers. Once you could talk straight to a level 2 hardware tech if the level 1 couldn't help. Now they "promise" to get a tech to contact you - which is basically "never" unless you ring after a week or two.

I hope NetGear reads this, they need to.
