I've had this router for a couple of years and it's been great. I use it as a g/n and it just works. I just updated the firmware after forgetting about it for a really long time. I can't explain why others have trouble with this router because mine works just fine.

I have a small two bedroom apartment. The router is in the same room with my computer and the signal drops so often that I have to take my computer to another room in order to get online. When I want to scan many documents I cant handle the back and forth between the computer and the scanner. I am happy for the first post because I was looking to purchase an extender and now I wont. Im just going to pay the five dollars for the wireless service through my local cable company.

The posted connection MPS and the real MBS are not the same. This router will not connect past 150 MBS no matter what you try! It defaults to 150 even at 2 feet away! The setup for n is not easy either and the software is not windows compliant (have to use their software for faster link speed of 144). YOU WILL NOT CONNECT AT 300 no matter what it displays - buyer beware!
