When I bought this netbook I was hoping for an upgrade to my last laptop that's just about had its days.
The price was great, the colour was nice and I did thorough research to ensure I was "upgrading" and not downgrading.
The first thing that bugged me was the keyboard (and of course it takes a while to adjust to the new one) but even now - almost a year later - it's still pretty harsh on my fingers since the keys aren't bouncy.
The low RAM makes it incredibly slow even when I'm only on messenger.
Another con was the Windows 7 STARTER. The whole point of a laptop is so you can personalise it and I could not even change my desktop picture.Overall I just feel really disappointed with this laptop. When they said it was "Only for browsing the internet" they LITERALLY meant just that, installing programs or saving too much just slows it down way too much (and that's coming from a person who keeps her PC quite empty & clean). So if you want something for daily use consider something else.

An awesome laptop. It comes with 1Gb standard which is too small and makes the machine slow and Windows 7 Starter which is gimped, so I upgraded the memory to 2Gb which gave a major boost for performance: I can run Visual Studio and compile fairly decent size programs on it! The keyboard is a dream. The battery life is awesome: 6 to 7 hours. Screen resoution isn't great but it's adequate. It is even decent for movies: some too choppy on my desk top work decent on this. The touchpad great. These are not gaming computers: it has 3D but it is limited. You can play older games, but don't try new games - it would be too underpowered. I have done video transcoding on them and while they work, a desktop is much faster. It has Android with is interesting, but I use mine as a Windows PC. But for everything else these are great on-the-go computers. I have tablets too, but when you need to work (and type) the Acer Aspire One Happy is awesome. Yes, I love the color too. Unfortunately Acer no longer makes them: they now make a black one with slightly better specs (much better 3D) but I would miss the fluro colors. Perhaps this is the last great netbook before the tablets take over?
Summary: Replace the 1Gb RAM with 2Gb and you have a decent PC. With 1Gb it is too slow to use. There are videos on youtube telling you how to do this. I'd also recommend upgrading the Windows 7 Starter OS to a better version.
