my netbook came with linpus linux(hated the os). i immediately changed to ubuntu.Loved it, tried to install xp in my 8gb hard drive(Windows consumes min 8gb space on a drive)but was unsuccessful.But now i am using jolicloud v1.2.and i like it.

My acer zg5 HD stopped working, changing it was quite difficult. (also upgrading its memory). No service manuals available, but lot of videos on youtube on how to do it. (Perhaps a bunch of people with the same problem?)

I've installed ubuntu 10 netbook version into my old zg5 and it works perfectly great but it took half of my 8GB SSD. Browsing or downloading are better than previous os. Thanks Ubuntu!
