  • Pros
    Almost everything
  • Cons
    No firewire connection

For such a modern laptop that has so many good features it is hard to imagine how the designers ommitted a firewire connection. It has USB3 and HDMI ports but it is not possible to capture video from my camcorder which like all others has a firewire DV connection.

  • Pros
    A joy to use
  • Cons
touch pad very responsive but a little small

After much tracking down we found an ALDI which still stocked this beauty. No issues in setting it up, just turned it on and put in a DVD of Top Gun! Might even be a replacement for our TV as the picture and sound were perfect. No problems with heat or other issues which we have experienced with laptops... fingers crossed. Look forward to booting to Linux and playing around

  • Pros
    Pretty much everything
  • Cons
    nothing much

Personally don't like having to get used to a touch pad which is part and parcel of using a Notebook; however when I get myself a USB wireless mouse will be 100% happy.
