That's great - do we have any idea when they will be released. The nature of the monitor was the only thing I was concerned about

Hi Peter,

The Portege Z830 will have a matte screen when it's released soon.

I have been waiting for this to come out for months. I try and update my Toshiba every 9 - 12 months - I currently have the Portege R700 and have previously had the 600. One of the the most important functions is the monitor - particularly if you are on the move. Why do they consistently produce one that has a glossy screen. They must know its a major drawback. I won't buy another glossy screen so now have to sit and wait!!!
