Just wondering if any follow-up test was done on CD/DVD printing, especially its speed, as this is a special feature. Mfrs specs & other reviews both fail to mention this aspect.

Had this for 8 mths now, have yet to print photos.
The cd/dvd printing is easy to use, just place the cd/dvd on the tray provided, fold down the front cover & behind this there is another cover with the word (Canon) on it pull this down also, this is where you fit the cd/dvd tray. just line up the arrows.
PS. when you go to print the computer will let you know when the printer is ready.hope this helps. by the way my ink is almost out so I wonder if they actually fill the ink tanks when shipping with the unit.

how on earth do you print a cd or even load it into the silly thing?
No documentation regarding this at all.

The CD printing facility is not mentioned. This was mainly why I chose this printer. When I try to print on a CD (using the included holder) the printer asks you to close the lid where the board is placed before you can print.
