Poor Mac support & documentation

Just got one of these today, and the first pages look as good as the reviews indicated. But Fuji Xerox don't do themselves or their customer any favours with:

1. There was no power cable in the box (though it was listed as there). It didn't worry me as I had a spare, but it's poor quality control. (I read a review where the software disk was missing, so it's not a one-off problem.)

2. Poor support for Mac users like me. The very sparse instructions that came in the box didn't work for mac, and the User Guide on the software disk doesn't open on the Mac. There is a PDF file on the Fuji Xerox website to download, so why not put it on the software disk along with simple Mac setup text file?

But after that poor start, it looks great!

Cons: Duplex printing not available on MACs
• • •: Beware Duplex printing is not availble on MAC. Bizarely it is only included in the Windows/PC Print Driver. Why?

It's pretty clear this printer is a GDI printer. It needs a driver to create the image data. It is NOT a PCL or Postscript printer. It therefore needs a Windows PC or Mac to drive it.

Image quality is excellent.
