RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone

BlackBerry Torch review: The touchscreen-equipped BlackBerry Torch will be enticing for existing BlackBerry users, but offers no real incentive for others to switch to the platform.

Worst phone ever. Nothing but a door stop.
Constant freezing up, call drop outs, and endlessly needing to remove the battery and re-install (up to 8 times in one day).
Was sent for repair, apparently had a software upgrade and the only difference is they lost all 192 of my contacts, but nothing else changed.
The voice command simply fails to work properly, so I can't get any benefit from it.
RIM doesn't want to know about it, so I will never recommend a Blackberry, nor will I ever buy another one.
2 cans connected by string will perform better than this piece of junk.
Worst purchasing decision I have ever made.

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
