The speed of the unit is exceptional, I need to replace all my HDD with SSD
The dock between the keyboard and tablet is frustrating. Many times a day the connection is broken

It is such a good computer, but unless Samsung comes up with a better docking unit for the keyboard, I will not be buying another Samsung.

Slim design with plenty of USB ports
I wiped it back to the original windows 8 by only pressing the start button and the volume down button by accident.

It too easy to wipe the computer back to windows 8 original condition.
When this happened you have to reload any apps and programs you installed. Not Happy

A true mobile desktop PC, aside from HDD space and video performance for gaming
Design of docking connector leads to frequent tablet/keyboard disconnections :(

I am so impressed by my new Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro (700T), it's just such a pity that one poor design feature lets down the whole package. Basically the ATIV really is everything you could hope for in a tablet PC; and that is a fast Intel i5 processor with plenty of RAM and adequate SSD storage (plus a MicroSD slot and USB port to attatch extra storage devices).

As Brian mentioned in his review, I grabbed a Micro HDMI to regular HDMI cable (from Cable Chick, here: which lets you connect to any HDTV. Another great addition was downloading a remote desktop application called TeamViewer, which lets me use my ATIV to control my home PC anywhere - making my new mobile sensation truely awesome! :)

The downside? The one rotten apple which spoils the whole package is a very badly designed keyboard dock connection. The result of this poor design means that once you have docked the Tablet with it's keyboard accessory (included in the package), any movement of the system, including anything but a gentle press of the touchScreen, will cause the Table/Dock connection to be broken. This leaves your keyboard and trackpad inoperable for a few seconds, and Windows make the 'USB connected/disconected' sound. So the ATIV is acceptable for using on a stable desk, but it's almost impossible to use the keyboard while sitting the device in your lap. Reports from other users online also confirm this is not an isolated issue :( Otherwise I found the balance of the device to be good (it is not too top heavy when docked like some Tablet PC's).

So there you have it - so close to perfection, be there's an engineer somewhere who needs workplace reassignment.

The tablet I have been waiting for my whole life. It has replaced my desktops except for gaming. The thing is perfect.

I did notice that the power plug on the unit doesnt go in all the way, so it registers as not plugged in occasionally. I notice it and push it a bit harder to keep it charging. Plug works fine on the keyboard. Not a big deal and not something I've heard others complain about so not bothering to send it back.

Fast, light, excellent hd quality, feel solid and nice design
problem with one of the usb ports on keyboard but replaced and ok now.

Have had this for a month now and I love it. Fast, easy to use, responsive screen, comfortable keyboard, runs multiple programs with no lag. I can use full office package with no problems and fantastic hd video quality. Micro hd port is not a con as it is easy to find a micro/standard hdmi cable. Its micro sd card slot is useful for extra storage, but, a lot of people don't know this but it is a relatively easy job to replace the internal SSD drive with a bigger one, and it can go to 256gb or even a 500gb if you really want tons of storage. Of course micro sd capacity is increasing all the time so maybe not worth the expense. This is one of the best computers I have ever owned and I recommend it. I had a problem with a dead usb port on the keyboard but they replaced it and now is fine. Despite the weight difference between the keyboard and tablet, it did not tip over easily and is in fact very stable.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
