  • Pros
A wild wild west forum where uncontrollable Platinum members using mass rating tool to degrade legitimate websites.
  • Cons
    Trustworthy, Credible and Safe

WOT (Web of Trust) disguised itself as safe and billed itself to protect legitimate users on the web from the bad ones, but allows its Platinum members run rampant using mass ranking tool to degrade legitimate websites to maintain their status. It promotes its members with awards and bonus for ranking websites with most negative postings and comments. The mass ranking tool these members (given to them by WOT) deploy to rate other websites give them the power to rate thousands of websites in a short period of time and label their biased opinions with the objective and purpose of maintaining their high status (Platinum) level. This puts into question their reliability, credibility and trustworthiness. I would not install it if it is free, let alone to buy it. There are many cases where buyers of WOT's product and service(s) were betrayed, shafted and lynched by the same mob of Platinum members providing their "unbiased" ratings.
