When I first bought this unit, the DLNA media sharing didn't work. After a firmware update, I managed to get it working with a lot of tweaking on the PC side.

It does not play many of my SACD discs.

It cannot stream YouTube content in HD.

There hasn't been a firmware update in almost two years, so Sony has abandoned the product.

This unit is functionally obsolete. If might make a good doorstop.

Cons

I bought this player as soon as it was available in Australia and have been very happy with it. Was initially frustrated at no DLNA connectivity option to begin with but this has been updated. Pretty smooth package all up.

My Sony BDP-S370 Blu-ray player stop playing Blu-ray DVDS less than one and half months.Called Sony warranty which is in NZ, spoke to someone called Mel( she is not help full at all) advised to check with the service centre which is in North Geelong (more than one hour away). This is the most disappointing and frustrating warranty call centre I have spoken to.

STYLISTIC Q702

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
