Bought after reading a review, apparently was written by an idiot..
I am glad that Ross Catanzariti have pointed out all the terrible things this tablet has with being fair to other stuff.
I have the same problems all of you guys have mentioned above, Wireless is very bad, the internet speed i get with Kogan tablet is 0.5mbps but on my laptop is 35mbps!!!
Although, all I needed it for is to read a book in bed or browse a web site, that does not work as it should, slowness and crashes..
Customer service is terrible, keep asking for invoice number!!!, I have been asked to provide this nearly on every single email.
They admitted the faults once and decided to arrange for a return but they asked for an invoice number again, then different person replied back explaining the same screenshots again, saying that I must be running many programs in the background, which I was not, i was actually running the standard basic programs that run on start plus Yahoo email and the task manager, and that used nearly half of the available RAM..I now believe that once they passed the 45 days protection period from Paypal, they are just stopped caring about returns and they came back probebly sending one of the copy/paste responses they have which will apply to all of your cases!!!

They are not getting away with this...I do not waste money..and this product is not good enough to be sold to consumers. should be taken off shelves asap.

I've had my Kogan tablet for about 6 months now and threw it in a cupboard a couple of months ago in frustration. It is just so slow doing anythng that I just gave up. The browsing is so slow and crashes often even with firefox. I was waiting for an update to come out in the hope that it may help speed it up. But I haven't found anything out there yet. I dont like Apple products but will now give them some serious thought as my wifes ipad2 has been great.

My 3 year old autistic daughter primarily uses her ipod for youtube phonics and speech therapy videos as well as learning games. It has been by far the best tool in helping her talk and learn about interacting with people. She can navigate the ipod better than most adults, so I thought a larger tablet would be beneficial for her. The pricing of the iPad was a factor in me deciding to purchase 2 of the Kogan tablets, 1 for her and 1 for me. I won't try and save money next time. The Kogan tablet was not even able to play videos from youtube. It was slow and the app store kept crashing. I gave up after an hour of trying to make it work. I have sent them both back under their 14 day money back guarantee. I am still waiting for a response. Don't waste your money, save for another month or 2 and buy the iPad.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It is not even heavy enough to make a boat anchor. It is too slow, crashes and basically too frustrating to use.

The review is pretty spot on. As an Android fan, I really wanted this to be a good device, but it's really hard to recommend. Value for money, I guess, but sometimes it's so slow it's painful.

1st things 1st. This is a budget tablet with a few more bells and whistles than some others in even the higher price brackets.

I've had this for about a month now and wasn't expecting a Samsung S3 tablet performance for a device under $200. That being said it performs leaps & bounds better than any other cheap tablet in the same $ field. And this field is normally found off Ebay shipping from Shenzeng.

For business this has been a great device running emails through my VPN. Plus WiFi was fairly simple to manage both at home and work. Wifi is however a little weak, especially in comparison to my laptop, netbook & Samsung S2 phone. But integrates well between them all, especially via bluetooth.

Don't use the stock browser. It's super slow, period. If anything run Dolphin or something similar. Despite browsing being a bit sluggish, I found it markedly easier to manage with a 3rd party browser.

Those looking into game playing would be best suited switching to a more powerful tablet. Unlike the main review I was able to run Real Football 2012. This may have been a result of a game update or ICS version in between my use and the main review (mine was 4.0.4, some pre-release review models ran 4.0.3 and had bugs that were ironed out in the next version). However the aspect ratio in RF2012 wouldn't adjust correctly leaving the game controls just off screen (can be overcome with a usb keyboard).
Games like Mine Craft surprisingly ran quite well.
GTAIII & Max Payne in contrast refused to load.

If your into peripheral devices, this thing has a port for almost everything. Connecting the HDMI through my Panasonic TV coupled with a bluetooth keyboard & mouse was surprisingly simple and responded well. Odd that you can't charge this via usb. But then some Nokia handsets with this same micro usb and DC plug type had this same oddity no less than a year ago.

Other than the slow stock browser, my only real gripe was the screen brightness. If outdoors unless it's overcast, go find a tree to stand under so you can see the screen. Without trying to compare apples to oranges my Samsung S2 phone screen isn't much better outdoors either, but is much brighter at maximum settings.

Make no mistake though as an entry level tablet this is a good starter. Be if for a cost effective business tool or as a cheap half decent entry level Android tablets for the kids or grandparents.

Those with more experience in the tablet field and wanting the 'be all answer' or a bit of grunt would be best suited moving to something else.

WOW..never wasted my money like that before. I completely agree with the review above. I went through same agony and disappointment. First I have to wait about month and a half just to get the tablet and when I revive I realize my biggest mistake ever. To start with the screen quality is very poor. One need to set p brightness on 100% just to get a normal screen quality. Battery drains in like 3-4 hours MAX. Browser experience is shocking as it lags and crashes MOST OF THE TIMES. Even the google play store crashes which is really frustrating. Keyboard lags and wi fi connectivity is also a problem.

All in all, if u wanna buy a tablet don't waste money on that..put few more hundreds dollars and get something that actually WORKS. I bought new iPad now and it works flawlessly.

Do not waste your money on buying one of these absoluately horrible machines. I have been in the market for a little while wanting to buy a tablet and made the big mistake of waiting for the price of either the samsung or ipad to drop. Then I heard about the Agora on the radio gadget show where the presenter was raving about how good the Agora was at such a low price. So I ended up paying $218 - $199 for the tablet plus $19 for freight which has been the biggest waste of $218 I have ever spent. I have no idea where to start with the problems I am having with this piece of s__t. The WiFi disconnects all the time, the browser not only lags but freezes, the keyboard does not type the letter I just touched, there is a white light right around the edge of the screen on the right hand side, it does not connect to my external hard drive, also I tried to download the Firefox for tablets and the site tells me that it does not recognise Agora device??? There are so many other problems with this tablet I am kicking myself for buying it etc etc etc. Also the customer service at Kogan is absolutely horrible. I have never dealt with such a poor example of a customer service dept in my life. Their live chat sometimes redirects you to send them an email which takes anything up to two days for a response. They also do not keep promises. I placed an order for the tablet on the 26th June and I was told it will be shipped on the 16th July. It was shipped on the 19th July and I did not get it until the 30th July. Only thing this tablet is good for is for my 18 month old son to watch videos on it. I should of spent the extra few hundred dollars and get an Ipad or a Samsung Tablet. SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF STRESS AND DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE TABLETS. IT IS HORRIBLE TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.
