Small size, quick setup, good EPG, can playback many formats from USB, quick channel changes, good remote, simple UI
Documentation is poor, very poor

Picked up online from Goodguys for around $30 and this unit has the best bang for your buck. This is a great this box to feed your obsolete analog TV via RCA or your monitor via HDMI.

Nice simple product from a good and well known (maybe not in Australia) brand and has some really good features…. pity the manual can't tell you what they are or how to use them.

Has power and channel controls on the box which is great if you need to quickly change the channel without searching for the remote. A nice to have.

Plays mkv files with DTS and 1080p mp4/h264 and even FLAC without problems (that was a surprise). Doesn't play XVID.

Documentation is poor, I couldn't reset without looking online for the default parental code (2606). Like all DVB T STBs the unit requires a good signal to get all channels.

Highly recommended for $30! I have purchased 4 personally thanks to the decommissioning of analog TV. So simple to use that even my mother in law can use it, albeit with the complaints of having two remotes!

Small size, easy setup
Bad reception, reception freezes, Could not detect any of ABC channels

Bought one from Good guys, Wanted to replace PVR in kids room,My Digitec PVR can work and has good reception on all the channels but this box could not detect half the channels and reception freezes on most of channels. Cheap rubbish, won't recommend to buy.

First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
