I bought this TV (46 inch) ten months ago. After six months, the screen started displaying a permanent green pixel in the middle. Sharp have refused to acknowledge this as a fault claiming that a clearly visible green point is somehow acceptable. They claim I agreed to the terms when I bought the TV, but they were never made clear to me, as they are buried inside the manual. I have never had this problem with a TV before. I will avoid Sharp in future and return to Sony and Panasonic
